It’s been a long time
since humming cars disappeared;
reflecting echoes off the windows.
The sound of drop falling down on a nail suddenly stopped;
few inches underneath a rattle of cockroach’s legs.

Half-closed eyes,
the face blurred askew
trying to smile
while warmth nicely wraps around feet;
falls to the bottom so loyally, so heavenly.

There’s no single tear to be seen
the last warm moment
a short jump into the past.
Those couple of years
I don’t remember nice memories
I have never been.
